Princeton University Return Policy

The Princeton University Store maintains a customer friendly return policy.  Any merchandise purchased on our website www.pustore.com   shall be accepted for return or exchange. The following conditions apply.

Merchandise returned with a receipt shall be refunded at the full purchase price.   

Merchandise returned without a receipt will be refunded at the current selling price. Worn or used merchandise will not be accepted for return.

Merchandise received as a gift shall be exchanged only.

Online ordering process summary

  1. Once an order is placed, an automatic email is generated to let you know the order was received. Please read the email confirmation and check for correct sizes, colors, and shipping information. Contact us immediately at 609 921 8500 Ext 242 or mailorder@pustore.com if anything is incorrect.
  2. When the order has been received by the U-Store, the Web Orders team will pull the merchandise from the floor. Any merchandise not in stock will be ordered from the vendor.
  3. Your credit card will only be charged for the items we have in stock. If something is on backorder, we will not charge you for that item until it arrives in stock.
  4. After the credit card is charged, a second email will be sent letting you know that your order has been processed. This email may contain a note from the representative who processed your order with any special instructions about your purchase.
  5. If your order is to be shipped, it will be sent out FedEx by 5pm (Monday thru Friday). See below for more information on shipping costs & times.
  6. If your order is designated "in store pickup" to be picked up, pick up is at our Nassau Street store, it will be ready for pick-up one business day after you have received your 2nd email. Pick up is located at the cashwrap .


We offer 3 convenient shipping options: FedEx Ground, FedEx Overnight, and FedEx Overnight Saturday Delivery. We ship most items to all states, including Alaska and Hawaii .FedEx does not ship to PO Box addresses. Please include a physical address as your shipping address. We ship International orders via TNT Express; shipping costs and times vary on International orders. Our staff will contact you to verify shipping costs before we ship your International order. If your order included two or more items, you may receive your order in multiple shipments due to item availability. We do not charge you extra shipping for split shipments. FedEx requires that we send your order with signature required at delivery. If you would like to waive the signature required feature please enter "no signature required" in the message to send with order field on the order summary screen.

All online orders can be designated for in- store pick. Orders are to be picked up from our Nassau Street location at 114-116 Nassau Street . An e-mail confirming your order has been processed will be generated once your order has been packed and is ready for pick -up. For pick up please ask at the cash wrap.
