Purchased our first one right around Thanksgiving and I finally pried it away from my son's head to wash it (by hand.) It wound up the size of a baby beanie...not good. Could not be stretched and the braids got ratty. I felt badly and ordered another one online. This time we will dry clean the hat as needed.
